Google to rank sites according to facts and figures
Google’s search engine currently uses the number of incoming links to a website or web page as a measure of quality and to determine where the website or web page appears in the search results pages. Google is adapting that model to measure the trustworthiness of a website and web pages, rather than its reputation and the number of incoming links.

Instead of counting the incoming links the new Google search will count the number of incorrect facts within the website or web page. The new Google search will tap into the knowledge vaults, which have been stored by Google over the past years.
